HS Hotsson Hotel Acapulco – We were in service and stopped in front of this hotel for a break and to take a group picture. It is a fantastic design and an architectural masterpiece. Below are two pictures of the hotel from a distance.

Sinfonia is a fantastic spot to watch the sunset in Acapulco. Spanish name of the place: Anfiteatro de sinfonia del mar. There are music concerts at this spot, and it is an excellent place for photos. On this night, November 25, 2025, there were graduation photos, and the sunset was the best that I have seen in Acapulco.

Sunset from La Quebrada, Acapulco November 25, 2025.

Last parts for the fantastic sunset from the La Perla restaurant at the Mirador Hotel. From this location you can view the famous Acapulco high divers. The platform on the left is where people will pay to watch the divers. The cliffs the divers jump from are on the righ. The Mirador has a cover fee to sit at a table and watch the diver. The cheapest option which includes a drink for MX $300 /person. There are other packages or you can also order food from the menu.

In this picture, you can see the platform at the Mirador Hotel where you can watch the divers. Some of the hotel is in the background. The rooms have great ocean views.

The Mirador hotel in Acapulco has a history dating back to the “golden age” of Acapulco tourism in the 1940s. Established by Carlos Barner and Teddy Stoffer, it became a popular destination for Hollywood stars and other celebrities, and is intrinsically linked to the famous La Quebrada cliff divers, with the hotel’s La Perla restaurant offering prime viewing. This is a picture of the bar at the La Perla restaurant. There are pictures in the background of many well-known people who have visited the Mirador. Mirador in Spanish means viewpoint.

Numerous famous figures have stayed at the hotel over the decades. Stories, such as Marilyn Monroe’s visit, are part of its lore, and the restaurant features a “Wall of Fame” with photos of stars like Elizabeth Taylor and Frank Sinatra.

The Acapulco high divers are professional performers who jump from the cliffs of La Quebrada, a famous Acapulco tourist attraction, into the sea below. The divers leap from heights of 30 to 41 meters (98 to 135 feet) and must time their jumps with incoming waves to ensure they have enough water for a safe landing. In this picture, you can 3 divers who climbed up the cliff and are preparing to dive. On the left, the crowd who have paid to watch from the viewing platform at Quebrada.
